Recall Summary:
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The windshield wiper motor 'low' speed function can become inoperative when the motor is switched from 'high' to 'low' speed.
How to Fix:
Dealers will replace the windshield wiper motor cover which contains the microprocessor.
Recall Notes:
Owner notification began during July 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Cadillac at 1-800-458-8006.
