Recall Summary:
Vehicle description: station wagons equipped with third seats. Users of the third seat, when exiting the vehicle, can come in contact with the tailpipe.
How to Fix:
Dealers will inspect the length of the vehicle's tailpipe and, if necessary, repair the tailpipe.
Recall Notes:
Owner notification began November 16, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Volvo at 1-800-458-1552.
