icon3 Recall Summary:

Vehicle description: electric vehicles. The program logic for the motor electronic control unit (ecu) can mistakenly detect a failure of an electrical current sensor at speeds above 50 mph. If this occurs, the ecu quickly reduces vehicle speed in order to maintain proper feedback control.

Dealers will upgrade the ecu .

Owner notification is expected to begin December 10, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009.
