Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The rear suspension crossmember may be missing spot welds.

Dealers will inspect the vehicles for any missing welds, and will have structural rivets installed in place of the missing welds.

Owner notification began February 2, 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chrysler at 1-800-992-1997.
