Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks. The steering slip shaft connecting the steering column to the steering gear input shaft might be too long.
How to Fix:
Dealers will replace the steering slip shafts.

Owner notification began March 19, 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Volvo trucks at 1-800-528-6586.
