Vehicle description: school buses equipped with 6. 0l gasoline engine, 10,000 lb. Front axle, and power steering. The power steering fluid can leak as a result of a power steering fluid supply hose interference condition.
Dealers will install a new power steering hose and adapter.
Owner notification began may 4, 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC at 1-800-462-8782.
