Vehicle description: fire trucks equipped with air tank drain heaters. The wiring used in the harness for the air tank drain heater is undersized.

Dealers will replace the harness with one that has larger gauge wires.

Owner notification is expected to begin during July 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.
