Vehicle description: minivans. Fuel can leak from the fuel tank at the interface of the fuel pump module attachment.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will replace the fuel pump module attaching nut with a nut that includes tighter design tolerances. The sealing o-ring will also be replaced.

Owner notification began January 9, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact daimlerchrysler at 1-800-992-1997.
