Recall Summary:
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The frontal passenger air bag may be overly sensitive to certain electrostatic discharge.
How to Fix:
Dealers will install an additional ground wire in the passenger side to assure sufficient grounding.

Owner notification began September 15, 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Volvo at 1-800-458-1552.
