Vehicle description: buses. These buses fail to comply with fmvss no. 121, "air brake systems. " the rear brake release time can exceed the requirements.

icon2 How to Fix:

Owners will be provided with parts, instructions and assistance in modifying several rear brake lines and add a quick release valve to the rear signal line. New flyer will reimburse the owner's for the parts and labor costs involved.

Owner notification began December 1, 1999. Owners who do not receive the parts and instructions within a reasonable time should contact new flyer at 1-204-224-1251. Also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
