Investigations Summary:	Odi has received 10 reports alleging incidents of sudden coolant loss which occurred while driving on public roadways in model year (my) 2001 through 2007 Porsche 911 vehicles equipped with gt1 engines. Complainants allege that the failures occur at a coolant hose fitting, resulting in a rapid loss of engine coolant thereby disabling the vehicle. One complaint alleges that the coolant caused a loss of rear tire traction, resulting in a loss of control, spin and road departure (10492870). A preliminary evaluation has been opened to assess the scope, frequency and safety-related consequence of the alleged defect.
