Two problems related to steering rack and pinion have been reported for the 1998 Dodge Avenger. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at normal speed the rack an pinion broke. The consumer will provide further information.
While traveling on highway hit a bump. Steering wandered left to right. Took the vehicle to mechanic. Mechanic told consumer that rack and pinion steering was defective.
