Takata recall 2010 Dodge Avenger. My lights blink on and off inside my car. My throttle control light came on. My car pauses at intersection like its going to just stop. Like it can't make it down the road. I'm worried for my childrens safety also my own.
Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph, the instrument panel cluster lost power and remains powerless. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 82,000. Ad.
Electronic throttle control (etc) warning light comes on speradictly. Still runs ok. The etc warning light did not come on for the dealership (so they claim). I had a coolant system leak and had to replace 2 thermostats, coolant housing and have the coolant system flushed and filled at dealership. Not covered under warranty. Not cheap. Picking up the car tomorrow.
