Was driving on hwy when vehicle loss power, was able to quickly pull over. Turned vehicle off and restarted vehicle. Got back onto the hwy ,vehicle loss power again, this time it wouldn't turn over. Replaced fuel pump, replaced valve timing sensor, crank sensor, replaced battery, replaced ignition switch and antitheft oem {replaced 5x}, reprogrammed vehicle 3x's, bought new key to program to vehicle. After $1500. 00 still not fixed, dealership has had the vehicle for well over a month. The dealership contacted the manufactured company, manufactured company said it was a faulty orc part. The manufacture company was suppose to send the dealership the new orc part and still hasn't done so, dealership says its on back order and there isn't no eta for the part to arrive.
The lighting inside is very dim and sometimes blink on and off when in driving motion. My horn starts blowing on it;s on with out touching it in driving motion. Also my car makes a knocking noise coming from the glove box when the car is off on a city street and also when it's in driving motion.
The vehicle was slowing down while driving on the freeway. Etc, esc, and check engine lights went on. The dome light in the car was flickering and the lights in the dashboard went dark and the speedometer was not visible. This happened in broad daylight.
While approaching a stop sign, I did hit the breaks, I felt a jolt however the car never stopped. The car did skid across a highway, and land in a ditch. There was extensive front end damage, however no air bags deployed. Bothe me and my minor child were removed from the vehicle by emergency response teams. We did both sustain injuries. The vehicle was unable to be driven and was towed.
I had just merged onto 69 heading home from school. It was around 930pm. I start to pick up speed to blend in with traffic. There was a three car accident that occurred so we all slammed on our brakes to avoid from hitting it. Unfortunately I hit the back of a flatbed tow truck going between 45-50mph. To my surprise my air bags did not deploy. Even though I had a recall on my car a few months back for the airbags not working right, so I took it to my dealership to have my recall fixed. So when I got in this head on collision I was in shock my air bags still did not deploy.
Lights were in auto position, drove approx. 6 miles with them on and running. Mad a stop and shut the car off, when I restarted it and started to drive away I realized my lights were no longer on. Had to put them in the regular on position to run them. Stopped the car many times, restarted it trying to get the lights to work in auto but had no luck. Got home let the car set 30 minutes and restarted the car with the lights in auto and they came on fine. What happens if this happens while driving at a speed of 60mh? saftey issue!!! I am very leary of this car and its safety on many different levels!.
