1 Electrical Jack problem

Failure Date: 12/03/2019

I own a 2014 Dodge Avenger in which only cold air comes out on the passenger side. I took the car to the dealer and they told me what I had expected all along, a clogged heater core. I have done a lot of research on this and found out Dodge is and was well aware of this manufacturing defect. Clogged heater core because of faulty flushing of the water jackets on the v6 engine. I am very limited on driving my car in the winter because my windshield will not defrost on the passenger side, which is a hazard. This fault is not because of misuse of the vehicle but a manufacturing fault of Dodge. Guess what, they will do nothing about it. This is a safety issue that should be corrected by the manufacturer and not by the consumer. If Dodge knew of this defect and the consumer wasn't notified isn't it fraud. I need help. .

2 Electrical Jack problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2018

The passenger side of my Avenger is blowing nothing but cold air. The heater and defrost on the drivers side works great. In winter driving the passenger side window will not defrost and this causes a very dangerous situation. I have read where many others have had the same problem and Chrysler corp. Will do nothing about it. I believe it has something to do with debris coming from the water jackets around the engine. It is not the blender door as I have had it checked. Flushing or replacing the heater core is probably not an option since it will just clog the heater core again and this is very expensive. Until enough people complain this will just keep happening until Dodge figures out how they can fix it permanently. This is dangerous in winter weather and it is a mystery, after spending 100's of dollars on a car you should expect to get what you paid for.
