Speed Sensor problem #1

I was driving with my family on 10/29/2011 and suddenly the van started to loss power without any warning or symptoms. I pressed on the gas even more and the engine continued to rev high but the van continued to slow down rapidly. "check engine" light went on as we were pulling over the right shoulder. I stopped the car and turned off the ignition. Fortunately, we were on the right lane. Had we have been on the left lane, this potentially could have been a fatal disaster. The "check engine" came back with a p0720 code and apparently, after googling code p0720, the output speed sensor (oss) malfunctioning is very common with Dodge automobiles. If you check the web, many Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler owners have had near misses because of the oss malfunctioning and without any notice. This present a very dangerous situation which can lead to a fatal, fatal disastrous accidents. This requires further review and investigation. There should be a recall done based on safety issues. The vehicles stalls without warning traveling at any speed. Now try imagining left lane on peak hours.
