I've got a 2011 Dodge Caliber mainstreet and during my drive home from work around 3:30am my headrest out of nowhere popped, hitting me in the back of the head and neck. There are 0 warning lights/codes present. I did not make any harsh accelerations or break, nor did I turn wildly. I was already settled into a lane on the highway and had already come to posted speed (60 mph) I was on I-610 west heading home and thankfully there were very few vehicles on the highway. Otherwise I probably would have caused an accident when I swerved out of my lane after being hit rather violently in the back of my head. The sound and impact startled me not to mention hurt pretty bad and left a pretty good sized goose egg on the back of my head. I managed to make it back home be it the trip between my home and work is only 13 mi. Due to the fact that it was so early in the morning and still dark outside I chose to wait until daylight before I got ready for my next shift to take a look into what could have been the cause as well as checking to see what was needed to remedy the situation. I'm a personal driver for alto so I know all about harsh events while driving a vehicle and none of which were the case in this instance. This happened completely out of nowhere for no apparent reason and with no warning whatsoever. I honestly wasn't even aware that there was anything in my headrest that could do anything like this. This is very dangerous and upon searching the internet I realize that I'm not the only person that has had this issue. So here I am now making a formal complaint. So far I'm not able to fix the headrest myself and am not sure if it needs to be replaced or can just be put back together. Looking into what to do next. I've made a short video showing my vehicle and the damage that occurred during this incident but it will not let me upload it onto the system. If it's needed please let me know and I will gladly send it your way.
Air bags didn't not deploy during a single car accident which ended in a head on crash into side of mountain then rolled over onto the roof. Speed about 30-35 mph. When tow truck turned car back over the driver's seat wasn't connected. Also prior to this accident problems with alignment, esp rear.

It is raining in my vehicle. Rain is pouring in through the sunroof and entering my car through the dome light, passenger and driver side support pillars, and onto the passenger and driver side floor and seats through a faulty drainage system. There is already a service bulletin out for the 2007 model for this issue. I went to Dodge today and they will not fix my car per their service bulletin: 23-043-06 subject: water leak from headliner, because it is out for the 2007 model. They said the extended warranty I bought through Chrysler will not cover the parts or labor and they will not apply the service bulletin to my vehicle because I own a 2008 vehicle. The issue, not taken care of leads to electrical problems, as reported by other owners on various blogs that pertain to this same problem. This company has irresponsibly produced a 2008 model with the same problem as the 2007 model, however, they will not fix the problem. In addition, the particular dealership I went to at 9600 atlantic blvd, jacksonville, FL, wanted me to pay at $105 diagnostic fee in addition to the warranty deductible of $100 if the warranty was to cover the problem that Dodge created in their counterproductive manufacturing methods.
2009 Dodge Caliber. Consumer writes in regards to a recall notice for front seats. The consumer stated it was hard to see over the seat back, when looking back. She stated they were too tall and should be lowered.
My front seat makes annoying squeaks when traveling on road imperfections, pot holes and speed dumps at any speed. I noticed the sound when my car was in the mid 4,000 miles. Also the brakes would squeak when I braked in reverse. My car is now 13,383 (six months late) and I've taken my car to two different dealerships and the seat still squeaks. They tightened both front seats and the tracks. They also replaced one of the tracks during another visit. Each time I take my car in they say that they have solved the problem, but as soon I go over the speed bump while exiting the dealership, the seat still squeaks. I called the manager for the dealership which he was the one that had helped me. He is asking for a sixth visit to repair the squeaking noise, but I don't think that that's going to happen. I'm sure that a squeak may not be a big deal but if there is a sound then that means there is friction which over time will cause wear to the seat and may cause a failure to hold if in a collision. Lastly, when idling at red lights or stop signs the rhythm of the engine randomly jerks/bogg as if it feels like it's about to die out.
