Two problems related to mechanical jack have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The cylindrical extension has a stud that fits into the top face of the jack, the whole unit becomes so unstable. The jack and extension slides out.
Jack and extension became so unstable that it allowed jack and extension to slide out, resulting in major injury to owner.
