Three problems related to alternator/generator/regulator have been reported for the 1997 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Alternator belt came off, all power to vehicle was lost.
Vehicle experienced fire in the alternator/ignition system, claim 18-0315-533.
Starter failed causing the vehicle to not start on first try during cold weather. Nlm.
