general problems of the 1997 Dodge Caravan

Four problems related to suspension have been reported for the 1997 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 09/30/2003

Shock tower was decaying. Consumer watch tower strut rust to the point where the metal was ripping apart. Dealer looked at it and stated they would replace the defective part regardless of mileage on the vehicle. Consumer stated part is still on vehicle and available to look at.

2 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 05/14/2003

While driving at 60 mph, the steering wheel started to shake.

3 Suspension problem

Van overturned while trying to regain control of vehicle.

4 Suspension problem

When driving at low speed the vehicle pulls to either side cause uinknown. Please give any further details.
