My air conditioning quit working - compressor and evaporator coil both went out on my 1999 Dodge Caravan about a year ago. I have not got the money to fix it so it is still out. In my entire life I have never had this happen in any vehicle. It's ridiculous.

The air compressor can be heard every 3 to 5 seconds while the vehichle is being driven. It started at 200 miles the dealership wont even look at it, they just keep saying its normal. An independant said that it should not make that much noise. You can also hear when the compressor door opens and closes and turn it on and off. The brakes make a knocking noise when you apply them in slower traffic. The transmission slips in traffic around 40 to 50 mph and then when you begin to accelerate again.
