Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problems of the 1999 Dodge Caravan

1 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2004

The cross over pipe underneath split apart, allowing the exhaust fumes/carbon monoxide to enter compartment. Fumes were sometimes overwhelming. Vehicle hesitated upon acceleration and stalled. Manufacturer was aware of this problem, and the part was back ordered with 10,000 consumers waiting. . . . . . Fiv eother families encountered the exact same problem.

Tail pipe is black on the inside. Nlm.
