One problem related to tailgate latch has been reported for the 1999 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Frame is bent/ rear axle is off by 30 degree, and transmission is going out, causing the vehicle to stall. There is a loud knocking noise coming from the vehicle. Also, rear tailgate will not open. Dealer can't determine the cause.
