Tire Blowout problems of the 1999 Dodge Caravan

1 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2009

The contact owns a 1999 Dodge grand Caravan (na) equipped with yokahama, avid touring tires, size 215/65/r15. While driving at highway speeds, the contact stated that the driver side tire suddenly blew out. After stopping and inspecting the tire, he noticed that it was the sidewall that had blown. The tire had not been inspected or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000. The VIN was unavailable.

2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 05/20/2002

While in motion, the right rear tire blew causing consumer to lose control of the vehicle ending up in a ditch after striking a mile post.

3 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 03/16/2000

Was driving & drove over a small bump. This caused 2 tires to blowout on the highway. Also, noticed that a wheel was split after stopping vehicle & checking. Took bolts off & the wheel fell apart. Advised by 2 auto experts that the wheel should not have split, but Chrysler refuses to accept responsibility.
