general problems of the 2000 Dodge Caravan

Gas fumes were leaking throughout the vehicle. The gas smell had become overwhelming when the vehicle had been driven for awhile. A recall has been issued for this make/model, and year. This vehicle was not included in the recall due to vine although the same defects applied to this vehicle. Recall # 03e053000.

The consumer smelled gas. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician discovered that gas was leaking. The cause was unknown. Please describe further.
