: the contact stated the power steering belt detached seven times. This occurred four to five times while driving at various speeds. The battery light illuminated on the dash board on each occasion. The steering was very difficult to control when this occurred.

2 Power Steering Hose, Piping, And Connections problem

Failure Date: 08/02/2003

Consumer states that while driving down a major road at 20 mph power steering hose split, leaking fluid onto the highway. The manufacturer was informed of the problem, but failed to fix it. When the hose split the vehicle's steering became very difficult. The consumer stated that he oem hose was flimsy, therefore he replaced it with an aftermarket hose.
