Radio/tape Cd Player problems of the 2001 Dodge Caravan

The contact owns a 2001 Dodge Caravan. The contact states while driving approximately 30 mph on normal road conditions. The radio system failed without any warning. The vehicle was equipped with the manufacturer's stereo system. A new radio system was purchased and installed by a technician the same failure occurred. There was a safety defect recall under NHTSA campaign id number 04v531000 (equipment; electrical;radio/tape deck/cd etc). The contact experienced the identical failure mentioned in the recall. However, the VIN number was excluded from the recall defect. The failure mileage was 75,000 and the current mileage was 117,000. The VIN was not available. Bl.

The failure mileage was 75,000 and current mileage was 117,000.

Received recall 04v531000 at the beginning of the year, and could not get the recall work done on 2001 Dodge Caravan. Took it to a dealer to have it repaired, and they said they could not do it because they did not have the part. The consumer called Chrysler and they had no service in spanish. The door actuator was replaced.

I was changing the station on the radio when the component started flashing. It seemed like it was scanning through the stations. Then the radio just went blank.
