While driving, vehicle completely loses power. Before coming to a stop, power returns. This has happened during city driving, at a variety of speeds.

2 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 12/12/2010

While traveling at 70 mph on freeway, the van came to a total stall. It had to be towed off freeway. It was found the timing belt had been broken before the usual lifetime limit of 100,000 miles.

3 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2007

Cracked flywheel on 2005 Dodge Caravan with 60,000 miles. Have read or heard numerous complaints online and from garage owners about this faulty flywheel. Causes vehicle to lose all acceleration and jerk erratically. Very dangerous,especially in traffic. Flywheel replaced. Expensive.
