Power sliding door failure on 2006 Dodge Caravan. After regular use of the power sliding door feature it no longer functions correctly. It stops after opening 6-8 inches and does the same when closing. This happens every time the door is operated and is a concern to me since I have small children that could become stuck between the door. The part that has most likely failed is the wire harness assembly with breaks in the wires. I believe this repair would cost around 300 dollars.
: the contact stated the inside panels of both front doors rubbed against the occupants leg and caused swelling. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted.
