The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Caravan. The contact stated that the brakes began to fail while driving 45 mph. While inspecting the vehicle, she observed that the brakes were completely rusted. The failure caused the wheels to drag and made it impossible to steer the vehicle. The dealer grinded the rust from the brakes and replaced the rotors and brake shoes. Less than a week later, the same failure recurred. The dealer stated that there was nothing more that could be done. The current mileage is 34,000 and failure mileage was 30,000.
