Four problems related to owners/service manual have been reported for the 2016 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Locks fail to disengage and door cannot be opened manually or electronically. My child had to climb out through the driver's side door in order to exit the van. This poses a danger during an emergency. Please advise Dodge to recall lock actuators on Caravan models. I researched and this seems to be a prevalent complaint among many Dodger owners.
Drivers side rear sliding door remains locked and cannot be opened manually or electronically.
Passenger side back sliding door, the lock is stuck. Unable to unlock either manually or with power locks.
The driver side sliding door will not unlock, causing concern for the safety of my family if in an accident. The lock will not move either manually or electrically/key fob. It worked just fine and suddenly stopped. I was parked in a driveway and used it as normal and drove about 5 miles and stopped to use the door again without any success.
