The contact stated in 2011 they attempted to use the fire extingusher to put out another vehicle owner fire it did not function. The fire was eventually extinguished by another vehicle owner who had a different fire extinguisher. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v824000(equipment) however, the manufacturer, kiddie, refused to replace the fire extinguisher due to the contact discarding the original equipment due to the failure.
