1 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/26/2022

My vehicle randomly swerves back and forth when driving. It is very scary and could easily cause an accident and take my life. I’ve taken it to vigo Dodge and had 3 different mechanics inspect my car over 5 hours and although they each drove my car and experienced what I’m referring to, they didn’t know what the problem is. I was told to just drive it til it got worse and then maybe they could find the problem. I’m scared to drive my car over 30 mph cause the random swerve could make me lose control or even swerve into oncoming traffic. I desperately need help and don’t know what to do.

Failure Date: 09/21/2018

I'm a owner of a 2011 Dodge Challenger. I've noticed not only on my car, but every Dodge Challenger reached a certain amount of miles, mines has 57,000 miles and there's clicking sound from the dash which a/c and heat to stop work. This problem is very common for the Dodge Challenger, and should have a recall on it, because its a constant problem with the Challenger, and the problem tends to occur after a certain mileage. This is something I deeply feel that needs a recall. Please and thank you.

7 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/21/2018

I just wrote in about the clicking sound from dash once it reach about 56,000 miles. Sorry, but I forgot to mention. I had the slightest clue what the sound was, or where it was coming from, so of course I got on youtube to find a solution to the problem just to make sure it was not just me, and I was very greatly appalled to the number of thousands of people that are owners of Challengers that had or has the same issue and no one can figure what causes this problem. It happens without warning and it's highly unsafe. The clicking sound even occurs while driving. I didn't know rather the car was about to explode or what, because the clicking sound is so intense. I pop my trunk and there's clicking. I unlock my doors and there's clicking. On sept. 21, 2018 when the sound began, out the blue there was a clicking sound so loud, I thought the key was going to fall out the ignition while I was driving with my child in the back seat, and this has not only happened to me, but thousands other. This is highly dangerous while driving. Please find an answer to this problem. Please and thank you.

8 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/02/2017

Car stalls right after initial starting attempt 50% of time. Must cycle the starting button three times to get the car to start. Occurs randomly hot or cold. No engine codes occur. Dealer has no idea what the problem is but suggests that it might be the key fobs or something called a "win" module. The problem began right after an alternator failure. I am not willing to invest money in repairing this issue unless there is a clear manufacturer strategy to fixing the problem.

9 Equipment problem

160/180 amp alternators recall t36 has been out for 6 months and there is still no update from fca or dealers on when parts will arrive. What is the next step for something that can result in my car and 1. 3 million others from possibly catching fire or losing power as the recall says. I'm just looking for an update. Mahalo.

13 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 04/01/2015

My window constantly goes up and down 1/8th inch when the vehicle is turned off. I have looked online and found 80 2011 Challengers recalled for this exact problem, I believe they should all be under recall. The Smart glass operation is faulty. Every 7 seconds my window moves 1/8th of an inch up or down. This drains my battery and makes my car die. Customer satisfaction notification m24 should be expanded to include all 2011 Challengers with the Smart glass.

17 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/13/2014

Over the past year, I have had major power/battery issues with my car not starting after sitting over night. The first time, I was told by the dealership that it was my 2 year old alternator which cost me nearly $700 to replace. Less than 4 months later, mysteriously my battery also had to be replaced, which was another $300 plus. A few weeks ago, while I was driving, my window starting going up and down intermittently. I mentioned this to my son, who had the car with him during the time of all the issues, he stated that he told the dealership about it, and they said it was the "Smart window" and offered to repair it for some crazy amount of money. But never did they allude to the fact that the Smart window was the cause to my alternator and battery failure. My new battery will no longer hold a charge, and I am having to either disconnect it every night, or jump start it every morning. When I called Chrysler about this issue, after learning that there are many Chrysler vehicles that have been recalled for this issue, I was told that mine is not on the list, but that I could take it to a dealership spend more money on diagnostics and they could repair it for me! I am a single mom who got stuck with this car in a divorce. I should not have to deal with all of these expensive issues with such a young car. This is poor business by Chrysler, and I will surely not buy from them again!.
