1 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 10/02/2019

Fuel link at the rear on left; odor of fuel consumes the vehicle. This is a serious issue reported from many Challenger and charger owners!!!!!!! mechanics states its faulty fuel tank that leaks and/or seals on fuel pumps.

2 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 01/22/2019

We had one of our 2013 Dodge charger ppv fail to crank. After determining that engine was not getting fuel, we removed fuel pumps. We found drivers side fuel pump electrical connector had gotten so hot that it melted top pump cover and created a fuel leak. This condition happened inside fuel tank which seems like it could have caused a fuel tank fire. We replace both fuel pumps with new cover. We have 7 of these vehicles but this is the only incident that we are aware of so far. I do have old part and pictures.
