Also, when the contact shifted the vehicle in park, the gear shifted in neutral independently. The contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the front of the vehicle every time the vehicle was shifted in park. The vehicle was taken to lithia Chrysler (2727 dowd dr, santa rosa, CA 95407) where it was diagnosed that the vehicle had been parked too long. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer where the cause of the failure was undetermined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.
