My 2019 Dodge Challenger wheels on the front has been wearing and tearing from the inside causing rubbing on the outside of the wheels. When I drive there is an uneven drive with the wheels wobbly going down the road. I have rotate the tires every oil change. I am afraid that this will cause an accident. There were no signs of the tire pressure lamp was on. I went to the Dodge dealership in bessemer, al. At no avail did the mechanic checked the wheels only to say there are no recalls on this model. How can I get someone to check.

I had a flat tire while driving to work and was unable to pull over for about a few thousand feet. As the tire went flat I swirled into the grass on a street without a shoulder. The tire snapped off and was not locatable. I filed a police report and called the police at time of incident. The total damage on the vehicle was under $3,000 but because the tire snapped off and damaged the firewall Dodge stated that the vehicle had to be a total loss. This was a 2019 Challenger there should be no reason for a wheel to snap off like such. After visiting several Dodge chat rooms I have learned that this is very common with the Challenger and needs to be addressed with a class action suit and safety recall! this happens very often to Dodge Challenger consumers.

Left back wheel , unknown risk factor. They have checked vehicle @darcars dealer and says they can’t find an issue, and every 2-3 days I have to put air in tire. This particular tire also have been patched ,but long after the issue started. Unknown tire pressure warning light, it started January 2023 the dealer also replaced the tire pressure sensor.

The lower control arm and lower ball joint broke causing me to hit another vehicle ,plus had to be towed due to damage , highway patrol called and took a report, was inspected my insurance adjuster after the accident this part would have broke while driving and caused more damage or injuries to me or my wife, the rack and pinion still needs to be replaced and is on back order until further notice no date given when it will be in by the dealership.

I have the 6y type wheel on my car and one has cracked from the inside edge inward. I see on Dodge forums several instance of this type wheel cracking. I have spoke to both a dealership and fca customer service and they are not willing to replace it. Stating its out of warranty. The car has approximately 65,000 miles on it. I had a flat tire one week after I bought the $ 60. 000 car. Then I learned the car does not come with a spare tire. Instead there is a machine, after reading the manual I got the tire to inflate. Immediately I went to a tire store to get the nail out of the tire. They said I will have to buy a new tire because I used the machine that Dodge provides. I was driving my 2017 Challenger rt with only 22k miles down a city street. And while approaching a stop sign and my front passenger wheel completely broke off. I was not able to stop or steering enough to control the direction of travel. Causing me to hit a gate and a street at a college. Sadly I'm suffering from a broke neck, femur, leg, ankle, fractured lungs and ribs, and a ruptured vessel in my heart. My wheels were never removed from car since I purchased it on 5/13/2020.

My tire suffered a major crack on the train to the sidewall on June 13, 2020 I called russell westbrook Dodge in van nuys to purchase a tire since this was an emergency they told me I had to wait three days because of ordering delays, so I had no other choice to buy another tire at another tire shop this tire was 305 3020 the standard stock tires are 305 35 20. I was unable physically to take my old tire with me since I came from a trip and my trunk and interior had luggage. I went to russell westbrook Dodge on June 19, 2020 with this concern and ask them at the very least to refill my tire with nitrogen which I paid $500 for and asked to check for my tire pressure on all my tires, both of these requests were denied I feel unsafe driving this car. I asked the service director of russell westbrook Dodge in van nuys to write a service docket detailing my situation and his denial to check my tire pressure and to fill my tires with nitrogen, as well as a potential alignment he declined all of these request and banned me from servicing my car, I feel very overwhelmed for my safety and for the safety of others because of this negligence brought by russell westbrook Dodge. I reached out to perelli tires llc and they declined to help me because I was an able to have the tire with me for inspection, if I had space in my truck I would've taken my tire. On another matter I contacted fca Dodge regarding steering clicking noise coming from my car when turning our parking the car between zero and 3 miles per.

I keep hearing and feeling the wheels rubbing/wobbling. The dealer has replaced 2 tires and 1 rim so far. My car is back in the shop today and they insist that they don't hear/feel anything. That is not the case so they are testing it again today. I had this car built July 2019, Challenger gt awd. I don't see any recall for this. This problem is making me very uncomfortable since I commute daily via highway. I think this needs to be researched further. My issue is still persisting.

My front driver side tire keeps losing air so I try to get my tire fixed, come to find out that my rim has a small crack. I've never experienced a cracked rim on a less than 2 year old car. It picks and chooses when it wants to keep air which is not safe and these rims cost way too much. Also my driver seat has a squeaking noise which is irritating, it happened when I was driving on the highway around 60 when I came across a dip in the road which caused me to bounce up slightly. It periodically squeaks.

When turning the steering wheel in either direction to its full extent, the tires begin to scrape against the body of the vehicle while making a turn.

I was driving at 35 mph on cruise control, I tried letting go off the acceleration as I did the car would not slow down and it started to wobble side to side it hit a curb and the front passenger wheel side came off and back side flattened and made a couple of dents into the right side.

Approx. , December 2017 (dont remember exact date) my tire sensor gauge kept coming on but the tire it indicated that had low air was not the correct tire. Now for the last few weeks it is on everytime I start and drive my car and shows that the two passenger tires are low (front 24 psi and back 0 psi) but neither tire is flat or low on air, in fact none of my tires are low but I cannot trust what tire the gauge tells me because it has never been accurate since it began coming on at the end of 2017. Is there something wrong with them or is there a way to fix it so it calculates the correct tires?.

Takata airbag, fuel system, key module, electrical system. The car stalled while it was stationary I had it towed to Dodge and they said the fuel pumps we're bad, got fuel pumps changed car still won't start. The lights in the interior won't come on, the doors locked and unlock out of the blue, the key is stuck in the ignition. My VIN shows recalls but there are other recalls for yr mk and model but not listed under my VIN however my vehicle is experiencing the same issues.

Two of the vehicles wheels have started to stress crack on the inner wheel lip causing air to leak, as seen in the pictures the wheels have no damage to cause the wheels to crack and this problem has been reported on the internet by other 2015 Dodge Challenger owners with the factory oem wheels stamped mopar lightweight on the outside face. The wheels were taken to the selling dealer for warranty, they agree that the wheels are defective, but fca has refused to replace them under warranty, the vehicle is 26 months old and has 25k miles on it. The wheels cracking in this way can cause a catastrophic wheels failure resulting in a vehicle crash and or injury.

2010 Dodge Challenger srt8 limited edition (srt8). The srt8's tires lose air pressure (5-10 pounds) whenever a pothole's is encountered or going over a curb lip greater than one (1) inch. Dealerships that provide authorized factory service have told me that tire pressure loss is normal as the srt8 has factory (oem) aluminum wheels that develop cracks in the center of the wheels/rims from normal wear and tear. This is deemed unacceptable as the srt8 does not come equipped with a spare tire and the tire inflator kit provided by Dodge does not seal the factory (oem) srt8 aluminum wheels/rims when it is cracked. Tire air pressure loss occurs driving at normal roadway speeds as well as under 15 miles per hour travelling over driveway and, e. G. , shopping mall entrances, changes in pavement grade, etc.

I bought this car and after I signed the papers they let me inspect it. I saw some rust on the joints and screws that held the tires. They said it was surface rust. I took it home and examined it closed. I found that the rust is very extensive. It included the metal that held the tire to the car and it goes deep. The rust flaked off in my hand. I took the vehicle back the next morning. They told me I could exchange it for a similar vehicle but that all of them had the same rust. I took pictures of some of the rust. I told them to keep the car and I stopped payment on the check. I then went to the dealer in ontario and I found the same extensive rusting on all of their Challengers. I believe the defect lies with Dodge and Chrysler. Why are they allowed to sell new vehicles with extensive rusting to the public? I did some research and found that they have been having rust problems since at least 2007. I also found that many owners do not find the rust as soon as I did and they suffer because Dodge has denied responsibility. I think there should be an investigation and a recall to fix these problems. I feel bad for everyone who bought these cars without knowing about this defect. I took some pictures.

I bought a 2013 Dodge Challenger rt classic new in may of 2013 in nampa, idaho. The car came with 245/45zr20 goodyear eagle f1 supercar tires. Last summer, we had one tire replaced due to a nail in the sidewall with the same goodyear tire (although it had a year newer manufactured date code). The other 3 tires were still original. The car is now a little over 2 years old. There were only 20k miles on the car and tires when this took place. The car has been well cared for and stored inside. The tires have never had any pressures less than 32 pounds of air in them (due to sensors monitoring the tires). The weekend of 7/11/15 we started out on a trip from caldwell, id to kalispell, mt (we were taking the scenic route on windy back roads). We got 50 miles into our trip before we got a low air pressure warning on one of the tire sensors (the right rear). We stopped and had the tires checked. They found all 4 tires at various stages had the inner sidewalls coming apart on the tires (even the newer one with 10k miles on it). We had all of the tires replaced. I have these old defective tires in my garage. I did not put goodyear tires back on the car due to them not being available at the tire store. I have worked on cars all my life. These tires were never abused and this is not normal. I fear for others lives. If the sidewall of one of these tires completely blew out, the car would likely be uncontrollable. I have done searches on the internet and I am not the first to experience this problem with this make and model of tire. I really feel this is a manufacturer¿s defect. When trying to address this issue with Dodge and goodyear, all that was offered to me was a ¿road hazard¿ voucher for $491 and only if I put goodyear tires back on the car. They were well aware I had already changed the tires and did not have any interest in putting unsafe goodyear tires back on my car.

Car did a curb check and the steering knuckle broke along with everything else on the passenger front side with the wheel falling off and folding under the car taking out the front wheel well fender and cracking the windshield.

Ordered new tires for vehicle, I was told that the rack and pinion was leaking and it would cost $ 585. 00 to fix it. I drive this vehicle summers only. I have only 15000 miles on the car. I do not believe this should happen this early. The car has never been in any kind of mishap.

I was making a left turn from "stop light" at 10 mph when I pressed the throttle just a little to proceed with a safe turn, the car started accelerating quickly and I lost control of the car and end up hitting the light pole. But before all that my buddy who happens to be a certified "Nissan" mechanic have noticed that there was a weird noise on the engine. So yeah, this what happened with 2012 Dodge Challenger sxt .
