Takata recall fca has yet to repair my airbag inflators as of 19 March 2017 in response to takata passenger airbag recall s43 issued on 26 may 2016. This is an unacceptable amount of time to wait given the severity of the issue.
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Charger. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 15v313000 (air bags) for the driver side air bag inflator and 16v352000 (air bags) for the passenger side air bag inflator. The parts for the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. Parts distribution disconnect.
