The vehicle was moved to the shoulder where it resumed normal function. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was found that the speed sensor had failed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 94,900. Updated 8/26/13 the consumer stated prior to the repair, the vehicle lost speed and was taken to the dealer. However, the were unable to duplicate the problem. .
