1 Other Fuel System Tank Filling/charging problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2017

Passenger side fuel pump faulty, leakes gas into the car cabin making it smell like fuel after filling up the car until its down to about 3/4 of a tank.

2 Other Fuel System Tank Filling/charging problem

Failure Date: 10/24/2011

After filling the vehicle at a local gas station and upon coming to a stop light the car stalled. No check engine light came on nor did the car give any warning. The car restarted after some cranking and drove okay for a while. Later that day the car stalled agian when at a stop light. Agian, no warning was had and the car just stalled. The issue is well documented within "lxfourms" website by many many member who have had the same issue. The issue has never gone away and the only aid is to never fill past 3/4 of a tank when re-fueling which is the only thing that has kept my car from stalling. The problem seems to stem from a bad rollover/check valve that is located within the fuel tank and is not servisable per Chrysler/Dodge. The only "fix" is a new gas tank which is as I understand the same design so is prone to fail again.
