general problems of the 2008 Dodge Charger

My car was leaking gas from the fuel pump and I guess my car from the backseat almost caught fire cause I seen smoke coming from the back seat behind the driver. I went to two Dodge dealerships to let them know about this incident that reason why my fuel pump caught on fire because Dodge put the negative and the positive wire close to each other on the fuel pump, which could cause a fire or your car to explode. I let Dodge know about this incident and let them know that my car almost caught on fire smoke came out and I could’ve died. They totally brushed me off and brushed off my incident. I told him hey this is a recall that you guys need to take serious before someone really gets hurt from now. I am carless with no vehicle to drive. No way to pick up my daughter from school. I need you guys help ASAP so I could be able to father my child and be able to go to work to provide for my child. Thank you.

The car is poorly winterized, causing my entire frame to rust and completely fall, therefore leaving my motor sitting on top of my ratch and pinion and almost resulting in my death. This car isn't old enough to be experiencing these problems or the amount of parts that rust out of it.

Before I had the chance to do that ,February 22 ,2020, my vehicle was involved in a minor accident that is still under dispute ,the driver side and passenger air bags both deployed and exploded open. The vehicle was hit on the left drivers side on the fender at less than 30 miles an hour the only airbags that deployed were the ones under active recall.

In addition, the front driver side area by the headlamp needed to be painted. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 158,093.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front axle needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tie rod ends in this car have been replaced twice and now im going in for a third time. My mechanic explained to me that these cars are known for their tie rod ends breaking. I feel it should be looked into. . I have been to online forums for this vehicle and its mentioned a lot on there too. If a part is defective the manufacturer should be recalling these vehicles.

I bought a 2008 Dodge Charger daytona from chapman Dodge in las vegas, nv. They sold me the vehicle brand new with 22" tires. The tire are hitting the fenders and cutting into the tires. I contacted Chrysler corporation and they said in an email that Chrysler corporation does not recommend this size tire on this car because it would be a safety hazard. I had five family members in the vehicle a couple weeks ago and noticed a noise coming from the front of the vehicle and when I stopped to investigate the lip of the fender was all bent and there were cuts in the tire. If I had been on the highway driving the speed limit of 70 mph and this happened, the results could of been tragic.

Eletrical failure 2010 - 2015, steering resistance 2013-2015, wires burning left signal back light gone. Front signals left/right malfunction, trunk unable to open with program key 2012 -2015. Wepplease save my family and consumers of us.
