Passenger air bag light comes on and stays illuminated in dash, tire pressure light comes on and goes off often when driving and when I purchased the vehicle a sensor was replaced and since I purchased the vehicle in 2016 the car has been hard to steer. The cars steering is still hard to steer when making turns. It acts as if it is going to lock up.

The airbag light comes on and off intermittently on the dashboard, it could happen while I'm driving or while I'm stationary. One day is lit the next day is off, I'm afraid this is a safety hazard because what if I get involved on an accident and the airbags dont function properly? I heard about a recall on these vehicles with similar symptoms as the ones I'm experiencing but dealer refuses to fix it unless I pay $600.
I own a 2011 Dodge Charger and recently had to replace the alternator. The battery light suddenly appeared followed by the abs and skid control lights. My vehicle shut down completely within a matter of minutes. I had no steering or brake capabilities. My repair cost to replace the alternator was $813. 87. In addition to the alternator issue, my airbag light came on a week ago so I went online and discovered the airbag recall. Upon contacting Chrysler I was told my vehicle was not included in this recall although the Dodge dealership confirmed this to be the same issue /repair as stated in the recall (airbag wiring harness needs replacing).

The vehicle was repaired, however the problem recurred. In addition, the vehicles driver side headlamp had malfunctioned. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number :14v101000(exterior lighting), 14v634000(electrical system), 15v467000 (air bags , seat belts)however, the parts to do the repairs were unavailable. The airbag light in my Charger kept coming on and staying on. When I took it to the dealer they said the error code was coming from the seat airbag sensors and they would need to be replaced. Apparently my Charger was manufactured in January of 2011 and was not included in the recall for this exact same problem because the recall was only for those manufactured starting in April. The exact same part that was found to be defective in these other Chargers was the same as mine, but they would not repair it under the recall. After they fixed that the airbag light was still on and this time I was told that it was coming from the passanger airbag underneath the dash. Again the same problem with the airbag wiring and harness, and again it was not covered under any type of warranty.
Tl-the contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving various speeds, the air bag warning indicator illuminated intermittently. The failure became a permanent occurrence over a period of time. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who informed the contact that both the front driver and passenger's side air bag wiring harnesses would need to be replaced. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id number 13v118000 (air bags) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000. Kmj.
Airbag system failure. Indicator light, dealer tested and satted airbag module is defective, airbag system not working. Part would take 3 weeks to come in!.
Within one month of purchasing my vehicle the passenger air bag light stays on and after bringing the vehicle into the dealer 3 times it has still not been repaired. Then my emergency brake light and my abs light randomly started coming on. I brought it into the dealer again and they said they had to order a part. They "think it is electrical" and would call me when the part came in. Two months later. . . No phone call from the dealer. My car would not start two times since the last visit to the dealership. I walked into the dealer to show them that this large light with an electrical sign and battery flashed on and my vehicle would not start just 15 minutes ago. The service manager went out to my vehicle and said my abs is not working. I brought my vehicle in to the dealer this morning. Among the above issues there is now a headlight safety issue. It is not safe to drive me and my family. I want it fixed or replaced. I bought the vehicle with 50 miles on it and it has had nothing but major safety issues. I do not want to wait until someone dies with this vehicle on the road. Something needs to be done now!!!!.
