I'm driving mi dogde hard steering.
While driving the vehicle the steering became very difficult, to the point I could not control my car and had to pull over. The steering seem to have locked up while driving. I had it towed to auto repair shop which I was advised I had to change the power steering pump. That's not in my budget.
Power steering locks up, power steering fuses have blown three times in less than three months and there are thumping noises and vibrations when making turns.
Intermittent disabling of the steering system resulting in multiple lights (abs, etc. ) and steering locking up with the car in gear with no prior indication of an issue and no warning light or message prior to failure then today this happened along with delayed start and the power steering system fail message presented so g with the car steering locking up and the car becoming immovable while in gear. This followed by the car not starting at all and remaining immovable requiring a rollback tow.

Power steering failure while I was driving. Luckily this did not result in an accident. No lights or warnings just went out.
When turning left, power steering went out completely, I was unable to complete turn and went across two lanes of highway traffic and crashed into a ditch. Vehicle preformed fine prior to incident. There were 3 injuries in the accident.
When leaving on drive today steading wheel hard to turn and was making vibrating noise hard to turn left to right.
While driving my battery light come on. That is due to alternator malfunction. The first time it happen all my electrical devices where going on and off. And my steering wheel locked and unlocked due to being a electronic steering. What I did I tried to pull over and stop at a safe place and waiting and the vehicle when back to normal mode except the battery light stayed on and the message in my cluster that said "battery safe mode". So I went back home and checked the voltage on my battery that read 11. 8 to 12. 3. So I took it to the dealer for the recall of the alternator. The dealer replaced it and said it's ok now. I took it home and on the way home it happen again and I took it back to the dealer and got it checked. And they said they found corrosion the the signal plug of the alternator. They cleaned it and said it ok now. A week passed by and it happen again all electrical started to turn on and off including the steering locking up and the battery light came on. And I took it back again to the dealer. And now they said they have to charge me to diagnose the issue if it's not the alternator. Charging system is not part of the alternator and they charge for that issue. Isn't the charging system part of the alternator like the voltage regulator that is in the pcm? if that is a bad component and making the alternator malfunction it's a problem for not making any current. All this happen in motion on street and on highway. All this started on June 3 2020 till now June 25 2020.
My air bag for my steering wheel is defected, my controls that control the cruise, horn and radio, does not work at all.
48hrs after I received and oil change I was driving to victorville California from san bernardino California and as I was exiting my exit my car turned off as I was driving. Car would not start. Tried to jump it and the engine would not turn over. I towed it to the shop after some troubleshooting they said it was the engine. . It had locked up. I was quoted $2500 for repairs.
Loss of power steering. . When stationary and when in motion. . Extremely dangerous and scary . . . I have also heard from others owners of the pursuit model having the same problem. . . This should be a recall!.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Charger. While driving approximately 55 mph, the traction control, service awd, and brake warning indicators illuminated. In addition, the steering ability seized and the vehicle stalled. The contact coasted the vehicle to pischke motor of la crosse (434 4th st s, la crosse, WI 54601), but it was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. Power steering will intermittently quit working at first start, when driving down the street or highways and turning for the last 6 months.
Driving in the city or highway the power steering will stop working and becomes uncontrollable/hard to get to the edge of the road. This condition is very unsafe and could cause an accident. The power steering will intermittently not work first start in the morning and turning corners. Checked and topped off the fluid level. It worked fine for two or three days and starts acting up again.
Alternator recall. Engine interiors lights flash while off, car intermittently will go off. Power steering not available. Chrysler mechanics would not look into my power steering issues. Told me my alternator is fine. I do not feel my alternator is fine and want it replaced. I do not feel safe driving with my children.
Lost steering and acceleration while traveling on the highway. This occurred within minutes after the vehicle entered "battery saver mode" and displayed the "battery" icon on the evic screen. This was the first and only indication of a problem, other than the radio not working that day. After pulling over, was able to restart the car, exit the highway, and pull into a service station. While attempting to park, the car would not shift out of drive into park, nor would the car shut down, until the push-button ignition switch was held down for several seconds. An electrical test revealed that the alternator had failed, and the battery tested good. Both the alternator and the battery are the original factory-installed parts.
Vehicle had a multi-system failure while driving away from a parking lot. Engine did not stall at first. Initially the steering became hard from power steering loss, "service awd" light came on, "service power steering" light was next, followed by brake system failure. Car was still a little driveable and then it stalled as I was stopping. This vehicle is very dangerous. Vehicle would not restart even though the button start system was telling me to step on the brake and push start. Waited 3 hours for a capable tow truck (due to the awd). During the wait, the car's instrument panel would come alive, the panel gauges would swipe one time and various noises could be heard as if the car was starting but nothing was going on. This car is extremely dangerous.
