Tl the contact owns a 2016 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that when the brake pedal was engaged, the brakes made a squeaking noise and the vehicle jerked. The contact also noticed that the rotors and brake pads were abnormally covered in black dust. The vehicle was taken to west herr Dodge (3551 southwestern boulevard, orchard park, new york, 14127, (716)-235-2960) numerous times regarding the brake failure. The dealer test drove the vehicle and found that the brakes emitted a squeaking noise. The dealer cleaned the brakes and replaced the rear brakes and rotors; however, the repair did not correct the squeaking and jerking failures. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who replaced the front brakes and rotors; however, the repair did not correct the brake failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 14,127.
