1 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2025

The unconnected touch screen spazzes out and I am unable to use it. I can’t even turn it off and the light flashing from it affects my eyes while driving at night.

2 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/19/2024

Center touchscreen delamination. This has caused the screen to function without intention by randomly changing settings which causes undesired use of the screen, distracted driving and an unsafe environment due to glue adhesive separation within the screen.

3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 02/08/2024

I have had to replace the vapor canister on 2 Dodge Chargers I have owned seems to be a common issue. Check engine light came on both instances one causing issues with inspection the other with emissions test and I had to replace the vapor canister on both in order to fix my issues delayed the process in getting my vehicle registered by the state. Seems there was a previous recall on the issue but has since lapsed the time period to have fixed with reimbursement had the issue checked by an auto services establishment and family member to confirm my issues and then repaired issues each time with a family member. I have also had several issues with the key fob the initial one I received the key itself was never cut for my vehicle so would not unlock my car had to have someone cut the key to access my doors, also the fob itself stopped working I had to pay to get replaced which stopped working several days later and they had issues when programming the key it had flagged issues in their systems giving issues programming since I still have not been able to have an operating key fob.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/02/2023

My screen is delaminating and posing a risk for backing up and using the rear view camera. I am unable to use navigation which causes me to make wrong turns and struggle to get where I’m going as I have to hold my phone for navigation. This is very stressful as the screen touches things by itself. It makes calls during my drive so I struggle to end them before going through.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2023

Back up camera not working. Screen turns blue. Tried resetting and had serviced. Camera will not work. According to the forum many others have the same issue.

6 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/18/2022

I have a Dodge 2018 Charger, recently I am seeing the uconnect touchsceen began delaminating and the buttons are being ghost pushed randomly, sometime the clock setting pops up and suddenly the volume goes to 100% and sometimes it randomly does sos dial or dial's someone else, this is a safety hazard on driver's attention as when you are driving down a freeway it freaks you out if the volume suddenly rises to 100% for the music or it randomly dials something when you are on a emergency call maybe and wont let you talk while on 911 call, clearly this issue is seen on all models after 2017 (details can be found on the internet). A lot of accident's can happen because of this as the driver is taken in awe by suden changes in the cabin.

Hello, I am not sure if this is the correct place to report the issues that are plaguing 2014 and up Dodge Charger and challenger owners. The door panels and center counsel on our cars are coming apart it is a manufacturing defect that exposes the electronic systems on our doors including the locking mechanisms and window regulators to moisture and heat. This is the second time this has occurred the first time my car was under warranty now it is not and Dodge does not want to repair the panels they said because there is not a recall on it they do not have to even though it is a widespread issue. Thank you for your time. Thank you,.

Failure Date: 07/12/2022

The screen in my 2018 Charger is melting. At first it just started to delaminate, a very common issue I wasn’t worried about. But now the screen becomes very hot to the touch, to the point where you wouldn’t want to keep your hand on it very long. Just recently and why I’m making this report is because there are now what appear to be visible drips inside the screen that look as though something is now actually melting. I believe this is a safety concern because this seems like a fire hazard if this continues to heat up and melt.

9 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2022

The screen cover separates from the touch screen on the radio. This makes the radio not function but more importantly other vehicle operational features are inaccessible. Apparently the screen feels random touches so even when I power it down it turns itself back on constantly beeping changinging stations, adjusting the heating/cooling controls, the clock etc. This is very distracting to a driver and I did nothing unusual to this device. I contacted the dealership and just the screen alone is over $1000. Before I pay this I wonder if anyone else has had similar issues or if its been previously addressed.

10 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 04/20/2022

The radio screen is delaminating (common problem with many Dodge owners). The screen can no longer be controlled to use hands free phone which is critical for my job and soon to be a new law in michigan. Radio "ghost dials" different stations. Cannot control the climate control etc. Car is out of warranty, but I believe should be repaired at no cost because I have read many complaints about the same problem. I also saw websites like top class actions and classaction. Org that were inquiring information about similar issues on several Chrysler products from I believe 2017 - 2020? this does become a safety issue and wanted you to be aware of this. Our problem started in early 2022 and has continued to get worse.

11 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/13/2021

What started as a bubble on the left side of my touch screen has expanded to the entire top portion of the touch screen. Because of this, random buttons are selected on the radio temperature controls and phone pairing screen. It is a safety issue because this happens while the car is in motion. It causes a huge distraction unless the entire system is turned off. My understanding is that this is a very common problem with this model of Dodge Charger. Another common problem, is the door panels are warping and separating from the frame of the door.

12 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/30/2021

Uconnect screen is delaminated and acts like it is being pressed and this causes the back up camera to flicker in/out while backing up.

13 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 05/31/2021

2018 Dodge Charger r/t uconnect system has a well-documented history of delaminating causing a series of hazardous conditions. The screen will jump from menu item to menu item, from one control to another, will disconnect phone calls, will prevent phone calls from being made, will exit out of navigation screens while driving, will distract drivers with constant beeping at loud volumes, will cause backup camera systems to cease functioning, will prevent users being able to access security features, and will generally have a negative impact on the mental state of drivers while driving down the road. These are dangerous conditions and the product should be recalled regardless of warranty status. Nhtsa is charged with protecting the human lives while driving down the road and should act by instituting a recall.

14 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/10/2021

Interior door panel warping and coming undone on passenger side door close to window.

15 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/02/2021

My Dodge Charger shakes when I push the brakes on a down hill or when driving in speed . There is no avs light system on . The brakes have been replaced and so have the routers . Have taken my car to several mechanical shops and everyone says there is no issue yet my car shakes when braked down hill or in fast speed. This is dangerous.

16 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/10/2020

Issues with the door panel coming loose where my air bag is. Both of my front door panels are coming loose and this is a safety concern I have.

17 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/02/2020

I have a 2018 gt and whenever I try to use launch control it's stuck at 1000 rpm and the scroll bar move but it doesn't change the rpm.

18 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/26/2020

The video display has a bubble forming within the screen and is increasing in size. The warping does not go away when the video display is turned on. It is present in all driving conditions (I. E. Driving, parked, and reverse. ).

19 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2020

All interior door panels on my Charger is lifting and exposing interior of door plastics and electronics.

20 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/29/2019

On 07/30/2019, your staff made an error on the mileage. It was reported 111,000 miles which would mean someone drove over 100,000 miles in a year? which I'm not real sure if that is even possible. . . The mileage should of been reported as 11,100. The car currently has 27,073 miles. Please assist me on getting this corrected. Thank you. Ashley meister (918) 314-2310 ashley@eaglemotorsok. Com.

Water pump fan.

22 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/06/2018

My Dodge has shut off on me while driving twice and each time we take it to the dealership they say they cannot find anything wrong with it. The first time it happened was August 6, 2018 the second time was August 29, 2018. Both times it shut off on us while we were on the freeway.

23 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/07/2018

My wife and I were driving down the road to our house. There was no traffic in front of us, nor was any oncoming traffic in the opposite lanes. There were no people around on the sidewalks. We were traveling approximately 40 mph and slowing down to make a right hand turn towards our house, our sunroof exploded from the inside out. There was no impact of any kind. I wasn't sure what happened exactly, but we pulled over to check what might have hit us. There was nothing that would indicate an impact of any kind, yet the sunroof was shattered and bowed upwards instead of down towards the inside of the vehicle which would be more indicative of some kind of impact to the sunroof. It almost looked like a blow out from inside out like pressure had caused it. We contacted the dealership to tell them what happened (this car is brand new, it was bought on 5/13/18), they are telling us it had to be an impact. I believe this to be disingenuous. I have no reason to lie about this incident. I was the passenger in the car and I was paying attention when it happened. I believe this to be a safety risk for drivers. If we had not had the slider below the sunroof closed, broken glass would have rained down inside of the vehicle and potentially distracted my wife and caused an accident. Just the sound of the sunroof popping was extremely loud and caused a lot of immediate confusion. I have seen similar stories online about exploding sunroofs, and I believe it to be a legitimate safety concern.

24 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 05/23/2018

At around 400-600 miles the car started having issues. Every time I press the brakes you can hear a noise as if the brakes have been wearing out, also when I turn the wheel left or right there is a ticking clicking noise.
