Equipment problem #1

While driving at highway speeds the vehicle suddenly dropped into "limp mode" causing the vehicle to start slowing down very quickly since I had regeneration breaking set to level 2. Causing the vehicle behind me to almost rear end me but they moved out of the way quick enough that no collision happened. I was able to turn on my hazard lights and roll to safety. After powering off the vehicle, exiting, locking it and later re-entering it was I able to drive it home normally. During this time the airbag error came up and a service electrical system error. The vehicle is currently parked and I can't move it. When I purchased the vehicle I was told all existing recalls were serviced but never received documents. The limp mode came without warning. It was raining at the time of failure.

Equipment problem #2

I am reporting serious and recurring electrical and system failures in my leased 2024 Dodge Charger daytona scat pack ev, leased March 18, 2025. The vehicle has consistently experienced critical malfunctions that pose a threat to driver and public safety. The most dangerous issue is intermittent complete power failure. On at least four occasions, the vehicle failed to start or respond to keyless ignition. I was left stranded for 20–40 minutes in various locations with no access to power, movement, or control of the vehicle. These failures occurred without warning and could easily become life-threatening if they happen in traffic or isolated areas. Another severe defect involves the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The display screen frequently blacks out or shows static while the vehicle is in use. When this happens, I lose access to critical safety features including the speedometer, turn signals, drive mode indicators, battery range, navigation, and system alerts. I’ve had to drive without visual cues, or speed visibility. On many occasions I nearly struck a barrier due to a blind reverse. The vehicle displays warnings such as “stop safely. Vehicle will shut off soon,” “service electric vehicle system,” and “service transmission” while in motion. These failures have been documented with photo and video evidence and confirmed by a stellantis-authorized dealer. A replacement radio assembly was ordered, but I was told there is no eta, and it could take two months or longer to arrive. In the meantime, I am being told the car is “safe to drive,” despite these repeated system failures. The vehicle has been brought in for repairs four times and is still at the dealership service. The problems have not been resolved, and the issues continue to present a major safety risk.
