While driving my battery light come on. That is due to alternator malfunction. The first time it happen all my electrical devices where going on and off. And my steering wheel locked and unlocked due to being a electronic steering. What I did I tried to pull over and stop at a safe place and waiting and the vehicle when back to normal mode except the battery light stayed on and the message in my cluster that said "battery safe mode". So I went back home and checked the voltage on my battery that read 11. 8 to 12. 3. So I took it to the dealer for the recall of the alternator. The dealer replaced it and said it's ok now. I took it home and on the way home it happen again and I took it back to the dealer and got it checked. And they said they found corrosion the the signal plug of the alternator. They cleaned it and said it ok now. A week passed by and it happen again all electrical started to turn on and off including the steering locking up and the battery light came on. And I took it back again to the dealer. And now they said they have to charge me to diagnose the issue if it's not the alternator. Charging system is not part of the alternator and they charge for that issue. Isn't the charging system part of the alternator like the voltage regulator that is in the pcm? if that is a bad component and making the alternator malfunction it's a problem for not making any current. All this happen in motion on street and on highway. All this started on June 3 2020 till now June 25 2020.

Every now and again I have an issue with my car when I'm driving. I can just be driving and next thing you know my car will go into neutral on its own and I will literally have to pull over wherever I'm at. Once I'm pulled over I put the car into park and cut it off. It won't start back up right away cause the brake be feeling like it's locked. After a few minutes it will start back up and drive like nothing happened. I have no idea what causes this problem but it's dangerous. Majority of the time this happened I was in city limits but this last time it happened while I was on the highway going 70mph.

May 25 2020, 2012 Dodge Charger se. I was parking the vehicle in a residential area and tried to make a left turn to straighten the car, the service power steering light came on and I'm not able to turn the steering wheel in any direction. Took the vehicle to the mechanic and he changed the fuse 4 different times and it popped on him. No one has any remedies to correct this issue that's obviously now an ongoing problem with Dodge Chargers throughout different years and models. Please have a recall performed for the parts needed to remedy this situation. The vehicle should not be on the road under these conditions.
Traveling I-5 at 65 mph when the car lost all power. No response in gas pedal, engine stuttered. Pulled off freeway and put it in park and turned the car off. Waited for around 10 -20 seconds then restarted the vehicle. Then all power and driveability came back. This is the 5th time this has happened for this car and becoming more frequently. Took the vehicle in to have it put on a diagnosis. Code is p0016. Crank shaft position, cam shaft position correlation/bank 1 sensor a. Also code p0128. Thermostat rationality test.

On my way to work, my abs and esc light lights flashed on the dash. Esc was in red and abs was in yellow. I pulled the car over, cut it off, and googled what it may be and all kinds of stuff came up in reference to what it could be. Once I started the engine again, it was gone. Let it be known, I travel on the interstate to go to work, so this was a very scary experience for me. I put my car in drive took off once I got up to 78, I put my cruise on and then about 10 mins later the lights came back on again. This time, it shut my cruise off and it's like someone pulled my steering wheel from me. I immediately pulled over again and cut the car off. I would really hate to be driving 75-79 mph and my steering goes out. Phoned Dodge and was told to bring it for the diagnostic test and they could tell me what it was. I went ahead on and continued to work and it did not do it again, even coming home. I just did not use the cruise. Time has passed and it did not come back on but now (twice) when I use my brakes, it feels like they are slipping. Not to mention as of 30 mins ago my lights have come back on. I was told it may be a sensor but it's hard to tell when the lights are not on. This car is my life. . My means to take care of myself and my family. I cannot financially give hundreds every time a light come on and then it goes off and nothing can be done. I was told my breaks and rotors were fine, yet I am still going to replace them. I just need this to be investigated further. . I am a true mopar fan and I love my Dodge, but if I or my family is in danger driving/riding in this car, myself and someone else need to know about it and see if something can be done. Please advise. . Thank you!.

I replaced the the lifters on the engine and it's got a knocking noise don't know what it is but now a red lightening bolt comes across the dash and I have scan it for codes but nothing comes up.
The vehicle has started displaying messages to have the power steering, electronic stability control and the abs brake system serviced. It has began to not start as well. It will randomly flash these messages on the dash in motion and stationary positions. When it does, the power steering actually goes out of the vehicle swerves. The car was just at a dealership to get the oil done a week ago and they did an entire inspection on it and said it was fine. . . . It has done this before 2 years ago and then stopped on it's own. So the oil change was before the issues started again. Had it checked out again and still nothing throwing any codes out. This is a very big safety issue and we would love some answers as to why this is happening!.
Problem 1) I have 2018 Charger. Couple of thing have happen where the rear passenger tail light come on and goes off randomly . I have change the fuses in the fuse box. Have purchase a additional tail light and doesnt not function properly. It's a serious electrical issue or improper grounding somewhere in the car harness or wiring. Problem 2) the abs & traction control light comes on and off while driving. The brake pedal will tighten up some times. I change my brakes , keep my wheel balance and rotated. Still having issue. Again speed sensors have been replace. Problem 3 ) uconnect radio something it will freezes up and wont play any sound , wont connect to the phone. It's blank out and I have go to the back fuse box in the trunk and hard reset it by pulling the fuse.

My car turned off on me in the middle of the freeway. It was the starter that went out and the alternator.
My alternator or starter went out my car stopped on me in the middle of the freeway. It would not turn over when I try to start. I had to get a tow truck to take the vehicle to my home. Also the front headlight harness burnt out and I had to put another obe which does not work sometimes.
It was a regular day I turn my car off when inside my came out 15mins later the car wouldn't do anything. The lights on the dash comes on but radio won't and the windows also won't go down.
Code p0303 which is cylinder three misfire, changed out coil on cylinder three bad camshaft and bad valves steering wheel stiffens up doing left turn.
I was driving home on the highway and the car shift into neutral while I was driving.
Tracking control light comes on by it self when it comes on while driving car slows dawn making it hard to push gas pedal to keep driving I have to pull over cut my car off restart my car then go again.
My Dodge Charger 2013, is having problems shifting gears. I put in another transmission and it still experiencing the same problems. Gearshift also sticks, while I'm in motion. . . .
First the abs lights came in then the traction control light came on took it to the delearship and had it repaired now its doing it again. Drive down the road at any speed the traction control light comes on.
While was trying to turn into parking spot my Charger suddenly died. When turned the car back on was able to start right back up. This has been happening more when tryong to turn the wheel all the way from a stop position or moving. Have almost been hit a few times when it just stops.
Vehicle was at dealership (acadiana Dodge). After being there for nearly a month vehicle still hadn't been properly serviced. Passed words with service manager and they refused to complete service had to take vehicle to another dealership and pay another deductible. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership therefore I feel as if they should've made it an priority to make sure my vehicle was safe to drive and that I was satisfied as an customer. They also listed services completed on invoice that hadn't been rendered. U do not trust dealerships. I feel as if I was discriminated on because if my gender and race and was completely taken advantage of. Pathetic!.
This problem has occurred 3 times in less than a month. Vehicle is parked. One head light out, depending which time this has happened. Vehicle will not turn over but all electrical comes on and stays on. Dash board messages include: "service transmission continue in d. Do not shift or turn engine off", until you reach a desired location you may not be able to shift again until serviced, service stabilitrack or something along those lines, and "key fob not found" even though key fob is in car. Shifter continuously blinks and a constant dinging as if a key was left in an ignition. You cannot move shifter out of park. All electrical components stay on and will not shut off. Car has acted like it doesn't want to start but ends up turning over slowly, a few times before these problems started. This issue started at around 5250 miles (but restarted after 15 mins), then again two days later at 5300 miles (got it to restart after at least 30 mins) took into dealership and that's when Dodge replaced the shifter after having the car for a week. Again the issue has occurred at 5857 miles. Moved car out of garage, noticed one head light out, and I knew I had to try and restart it from previous issues. Sure enough, it would not turn over but all electrical came on and stayed on. Had to have the vehicle towed back to dealership with malfunctioning electrical still on. Battery had died by the time the dealership service team looked at it.
All dash warning lights are on. Loss of power steering trans slippery and sticking.
Power shuts off randomly, stalling, acceleration lost, but will fire right back up if you flip the key around or put in neutral. Very unsafe if traffic coming and it shuts right down. Also while in park it's shuts off.
Almost lost control of the vehicle. Vehicle no longer feels stable while driving.
I was driving on the freeway when all of the sudden a bunch of warning lights started flashing on the dashboard so a pulled off the freeway and the motor died and would not start again. . I bought a brand new battery and put that in then the alternator started smocking and burned out so I bought a new one and put that in. I made it across town all light started flickering again and car shut off while driving. I replaced the alternator again and the same thing happened again! I don't know what to do now the car is dead!.

Bought the car in. December 2018. On January 21, 2019 the dashboard lit up saying servive electronic stability control along with the abs warning light took Charger to get fixed it was fixed havent had an issue till today March 21, 2020 when it's happening again 1 year later ???? not right and yes the car was on a street at the time it starting not to brake I am really upset I dont feel safe in this car but love it. . . Someone help a recall should be put into place. . Thanks.
I can put the key in the starter I'm turning it over novi truck is running to my gas pump or my speedometer or my radio.
Car will shut off going 45 mph, at a stop light (0 mph) or when crossing traffic intersections for examples (at most going 10 or 15 mph). I will attempt to restart and the car will start up, stall up and then shut off again - when this happens, I lose power steering. I have to switch gears from drive to park and then turn the car off and then on again in hopes it will start. As you're driving, you can feel when the car is about to cut off, it throttles ahead a bit and revs, then the car beeps and turns off, while the gear is in drive and turning my wheel does nothing. I notice that this issue would usually happen after a fill up my gas tank, so I started only filling up halfway ,but the issue still persists. This issue became heavily frequent yesterday where the car stalled and cut off at least 4 different times while making a 7 mile drive back home. This was very very scary in my eyes, especially with a passenger in my seat. This is a huge safety concern because the vehicle is shutting off while in motion and powering steering is lost. If this happens on the highway going 60+ miles per hour, or turning into oncoming traffic, there is a guaranteed accident, possibly resulting in serious injury or death. I believe there is an issue with the gas tank and the evap canister that causes the sensors to think that gas is overfilling the engine, which shuts off the car. This was filed under NHTSA pe13-016 (which appears to be closed or inaccessible- https://www-odi. Nhtsa. Dot. Gov/acms/cs/documentlist. Xhtml?docid=pe13016&doctype=inv). This safety concern really needs to be looked into.
I drive to work every day and I can feel my car shacking while I have the car on drive. I have experienced my vehicle sliding of the road with out control. Also my breaks has lost control on me while driving 20 mph. These issues im experiencing are very dangerous and I don't feel safe at all driving my vehicle even if im driving slow. The last occurrence happened 9/12/18, but this has been an ongoing issue. I don't understand why these issues are not reported as a safety issue and considered as a recall.
My car motor blew out of no where in the middle of me driving it. It was being well maintained up until this happened too. Anything that could of caused this?.
Having troubles with my Dodge Charger heard it's a recall . I'm extremely disappointed. It's my pcm.
