When a passenger is in the car, the air bag light and an audible alert constantly go off while driving. Took it to the dealership and they say this: "it's a seat belt buckle sensor circuit causing orc. Light wires are connected and not damaged" to me, the words "not damaged" indicate that this is not our fault. Of course we're not going to let our daughter continue to drive the car like this, but I feel like $522. 79, which is what they're charging, in addition to a $99 misc. Fee that I don't know what is, is way too much for something that I thought would be considered a safety issue.
Transmission shifts rough. Dealership replaced transmission but it has been doing the thing since day one when they replaced it. Motor bogs down when turning. Passenger seat belt flashes and dings even though the belt is clicked. Hands free system longer works. Airbags light is always on. Back up camera is flipped upside down and is a backing hazard. Odometer is flashing as well. Tire pressure sensors will show that there is no air in the tires after driving about 45 mins. It asks if there has been and crashes, I have not but it could happen. You never know when the car isn't going to respond.
Passenger seatbelt will say unbuckled, airbag system not working.
The seat belt warning light will continue to beep and flash when someone is in the seat and has the seatbelt on, also my car is unable to be parked for more than one day without starting it or it drains the battery and then has to be jump started with another car for it to run again and then the battery has to be replaced this seems like a serious defect the car should be able to sit for at least a couple days and be fine and this is during regular temperature times also so it's very strange it definitely seems like electrical issues.
The airbag light started coming on when a passenger sat in the passenger seat. The light would go off. When driving, the airbag light began coming on when driving with no passenger and then stayed on. In addition, the seatbelt light would beep even when the passenger belt was plugged in. I took the vehicle into Dodge for service and was informed the seatbelt could not be fixed because the part needed was discontinued. The airbag light was diagnosed as a problem with the wire harnesses. The day after getting my car back from being repaired, the airbag light is back on. It came on once I started the car. It now comes on intermittently while driving, sometimes does not go off until the car is off.
When a passenger gets in the pasenger seat the air bag and no seatbelt comes on blinking and dinging the whole time I am driving. Today my check engine light came on so I took it to auto zone and had the codes read adn it came up with the following p0520 engine oil pressure sensor/switch circuit and code u0140 lost communication with body control module.
Service airbag system message displays when you start the car and drive it it does not go off.
When a passenger is sitting in the front passenger side of the vehicle with the seat belt connected, the vehicle is illuminated a warning light saying passenger seat u buckled. This is also causing a "service airbag system" to appear in the dash along with the warning light being illuminated. The problem was first observed when a passenger sat in my front passenger seat, vehicle was not in motion when the lights illuminated and continued to stay illuminated while driving.
I have a recall for my transmission bushing and I have called multiple dealerships to try to get it fixed but they all say they dont have the parts available! I have to manually put the transmission cable on the arm to be able to switch gears, this is a huge safety concern that is not in any hurry to be fixed. I strongly demand this issue getting resolved in a more timley mannor as my inspection needs to be passed and it is unable to because of this problem. Seatbelts light keeps coming on when seatbelts are worn and off when the arnt.
The seatbelt sensor in my vehicle seems to never go off, a mechanic took a look and said the seat belt sensor was bad, how at 61000 miles is my seatbelt sensor bad? I've had two opinions and after talking to a Dodge representative I was told I'd have to replace the entire seatbelt system out of pocket. So how is it Dodge uses a cheap part and I'm responsible for the mess up from the company.
One day I was driving on the highway and I received a notification to service air bag and my car shows the passenger seatbelt isn't buckled, even when it is. This causes my car to make noises at me the whole time I'm driving. It has also raised concerned of whether my airbags are functioning, and if I and anyone who rides with me is safe driving/riding in this car. . I just had the bushing for the shifter cable repaired. . Now another dangerous situation with my Dart.
Car is giving code b0052-13 and is turning off air bag and showing srs code with seatbelt off code for passenger air bag. Seatbelt is faulty and not covered under any factory warranty. My concern is if my car is in an accident my passenger will not be protected and could cause bodily injuries.
Fasten seat belts light appears on dash and dings. Air bag light continues to be lit. Battery replaced and tested good. . . Car doesn't start. Radio loses reception. Key fobik doesn't lock, unlock, remote start or panic button doesn't work to car (always did before) check engine light has come on and went off several times.
My daughter has a 2013 Dodge Dart and her service air bag system light came on and the seat belt shows that not buckeled when sitting in the passenger seat. Talking with a mechanic this means that the air bag will not deploy and this is a major concern due to the life of my daughter and her passengers . Dodge really needs to fix this and not at my expense. Thank you charity riggans va.

Passenger seatbelt light comes on even when passenger has seatbelt on. Airbag service light is illuminated. Both happened simultaneously. Air bag light remains on even if there is no passenger.
Hi my Dodge Dart has the airbag light on I haven't ben in an accident or any thing it's a safety matter if I was to get in an accident and the airbag does not go off me and all my passengers could be severely ingered or dead witch would lead to a pritty penny lawsuit the airbag light just came on it was just sitting in the yard and then I went to start it and when it started the airbag light came on so I did a little research to finds out what it meant and found out that the air bag light ment that the airbag may not come out at impact and it's a pritty pricy fix so hopefully yall can do something about that so it doesn't end up a tragity.
One day passenger seat belt light came on along with service air bag light and have had problems with since. Took to a Dodge dealership and they told me they would not fix it without me paying 1600. 00 dollars. When I did nothing to cause this. I was also 5 months pregnant. My husband called them and the service manager told him that if I was in an accident my air bags will not deploy! tell me how this is safe!?!?!.
Sevice air bag light illuminated at approximately 60,000 miles. When a passenger sits in the front passenger seat and buckles their seat belt, a warning appears on the dash stating the passenger seat belt is not buckled.
Vehicle has service airbag light on and sensors say the seatbelt is unbuckled when it is not. Has never been in a collision. Now I still owe 1 year of payments and my only car is not safe to drive.
This is a safety issue and should be covered under warranty at any time. I have owned several cars and this has never, ever happened before!! I called my local dealership and informed them of my issue. The service dept. Attendant told me to hurry in so they could look at it. I left work early for them to tell me that, yes there is an issue. He then stated that I would need to wait a week to make an appointment for my car to be seen. I took it back to my local dealership last night and did an early drop off, since my appointment was for April 10th. I called at 1:00 since I hadn't heard anything from the dealership. Miguel then stated that they hadn't had an opportunity to look at my car! I asked what the point was for me to make an appointment and take it in early if my vehicle was not going to be "looked" at? he proceeded to tell me they aren't able to look at my car until the cars ahead of mine were fixed. Why make an appointment? he then called me two hours later and stated that I would need to pay $400 for the sensor module to be replaced. Honestly, since so many people are having the exact same issue maybe Dodge should have a class action lawsuit against them to fix this safety issue. I am a single mother of 3 teenagers. It is difficult to keep up financially when all of these problems are occuring in a relatively new car!!! in January I had to pay the dealership $500 for the dash module to be replaced! I purchased this vehicle in December of 2014 and it seems like I have had one problem after another, the battery, the main module, the key fob, the seatbelt system, to name a few. I am very unhappy with this vehicle and would really caution those that want to buy a Dodge Dart. Afterall, it can't be that great, their own company doesn't stand behind an essential part of the vehicle. I guess it's about the money, not the people lives or safety.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. When the vehicle was started, the air bag indicator illuminated and remained lit. Also, when the front passenger seat belt was buckled, the passenger seat belt indicator illuminated, which meant that the front passenger seat belt was not buckled. Airbag light is on and stays on. Seat belt light is on and stays on and dings even when both belts are on in front seat. Over 6k people on forums have same problem!.
When in motion, when someone is sitting in the passenger seat, the seatbelt signal, passenger airbag signal, as well as digital display warning about seatbelt and airbag systems are all on and alerting us. If an accident were to occur, the car would not deploy passenger airbag due to this malfunction.
The contact owned a 2013 Dodge Dart. While the contact's daughter was driving approximately 47 mph, she lost control of the vehicle due to icy weather conditions. As a result, the vehicle veered to the side of the road and ultimately rolled over down a hill. The seat belt pretensioner did not tighten nor did the air bags deploy. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard where it was deemed destroyed. There was one injury that required medical attention. The driver suffered a scratch by the cornea of the eye. The VIN was invalid. The failure mileage was approximately 91,000.
Vehicle had less than 50000 miles on it. When a passenger in my car would put their seat belt on the dash warning light and the check air bag lights would come on.
My air bag light is staying on saying service air bag system. Also when someone is in the passanger seat the seatbelt light is staying on while they're wearing the seatbelt. Both lights started coming on at the same time. It started happening when my vehicle was on and in park.

The car was in a bad accident 20 March 2016. The passenger seatbelt did not tighten and no airbags deployed possibly contributing to severe neck injury. This vehicle was traveling about 35 mph when a vehicle next to it traveling the same speed decided to make a u-turn in front of it on a city one-way road. Please investigate this ASAP before the car is dispositioned by the insurance.
The sensor light came on while I was driving with my father in the passenger side , and indicating that the seat belt is not buckled but it was , and the warning on the dash says air bag service deployed but the nothing came out , but I never hit anything , also the noise for the seat belt keeps going off as if the seat belt is not buckled when it is , I never had problem before with car its creepy and scared for my wife and father who sit iin the seat , please help me.
I was coming off the highway and was on the brake slowing my 2013 Dodge Dart from 65 to 40 then to 20 to take a sharp right turn, in the turn the string went dead and for a brief second was unable to turn almost causing an accident with another car and that was the second time that has happen the first was with my whole family, I was driving around in a parking lot. Also this car has an airbag light on for the passenger seat , the car over heats and the backup cam no longer works the battery is now dead and were unable to drive, were out of warranty by a little over 500 miles and the dealership will not fix the issue unless I pay more money to fix this paper weight. I can drive it after getting a jump but the electrical system fail to work the speedometer fades in and out and the gauge drops to 0mph. My car was sold to me after replacing a power control module and has been replaced a second time. This car is not worth the $21000 spent and I should be given back half of my money. My car still overheats after many dealership visits over just that very problem and every time I pick it up it seem like something new I was wrong (( !! I bought this car to travel back and forth monthly from san antonio to ft. Hood for my military obligations im a pissed a veteran who wants my car to work like it was advertised! because that is what I paid for!! )).
The service airbag light on the dashboard is continuously on. Has been that way since I purchased the used car in may of 2014. Received a recall notice and took to dealership, fixed and a few months later the light was back on. In may of 2018 took vehicle to another dealership to fix the passenger seat belt sensor that kept stating no passenger seat belt even if the person in the passenger seat had already buckled in, as well as the shift cable bushing because it became detached and could not shift anymore and also let them know about the service airbag light. Dealership fixed all and a few months later the service airbag light came back on and has been that way ever since.
