So we were driving the roads were wet and it was snowing as we switched lanes we lost control of the car on the highway spun about 10 times and hit a cement barrier at about 40 miles hit the front of the car and the air bags did not deploy at all .

The air bags on this car failed to deploy from a bad car accident. My car was hit near the right front from a person that ran a red light. The front end damage was horrible to say the least as to where the insurance adjuster said to me that the car has to be totaled. Upon driving the car on the freeway yesterday, the 2016 Dodge Dart started to shake and the car would not slow down. The passenger front wheel control arm, tire, and cv joint completely feel off the vehicle which caused an accident.

There is heat that consistently emanates into the car from the area where the wiring harness or fuse box would be. I've had it looked at and mechanics continue to say that the fuse box is fine but there seems to be an issue with the harness. The problems is so bad that the heat over time has led to bad paint damage to the left side of the car. The paint is completely dull. The discoloration is beyond obvious and noticeable. The heat begins to be a problem almost immediately after turning it on.

I have been having ongoing problems with my 2013 Dart sxt since about 5 months after purchase. One of the first things that happened was the passenger door handle coming off - more than once - and having to be fixed. I believe this occurred three times. Each time it was "fixed" and then the handle would come off again. The last time the handle came off, I was no longer under warranty so now I just have a passenger door with no handle until I can afford to get that fixed. As far as the electrical problems I have had: the dash display goes completely dark and resets itself when I am driving - especially if the weather changes; my traction control and check engine lights come on randomly; my heat/ac turns on or up without anyone touching it (at random) and I've frequently had problems with trying to get the vehicle to start when it is cold outside. My remote start stopped working over a year ago, but because I first had my electric worked on at frank fletcher Dodge, and had to take it back a second time because the problems weren't fixed, I stopped trying. Any other place I've taken my car always suggests I go back to the place where the electrical work started but I do not want to do that because it seems like problems get worse every time I have taken it to get fixed. My dash/clock resets at complete random. I have been driving and hit pot holes on the street and bumps on the highway that made the whole system reset while I was still driving. Even this Monday, I started my car at the end of my workday only to find that my clock and audio settings were reset again. I was trying to keep track of the service records from frank fletcher Dodge and others but may have lost some from all of the times I have had to call them in the past few years. I have been expecting some sort of recall or buy back due to the all of the complaints that have been filed, but no luck.

The trunk pops opens without warning. Three times now my trunk has opened when driving down the freeway. There are no warning lights, I suddenly have no rear vision. This means I have to pull over on a freeway with no rear vision, park, and get out with cars whizzing by me to close the trunk. I don't know the exact dates so just picked a date below. I took my car in to have a recall fixed on my car. When I got my csr back I looked over the brake booster and lines and the only thing that was changed was the supply hose. After oil had been previously found. You can see the oil still soaked in places. The tech put on the invoice that she changed the booster but yet the booster was untouched with factory paint marks still in tacked. I left my car there and went in the next day to resolve this issue and they tried saying it was a misunderstanding. I dont see how saying you changed a part when you didn't is a misunderstanding. So they keep the csr another night and when I go to pick up my car I wanted to check it along with a mechanic from a different business. At this time my hood will not close due to a bent or snapped hood cable. The tech did not drop the transmission and forced the boosfer in and bound up my hood cable in the process. The pump and master cylinder hace still yet to be replaced as the r63 recall requires if engine oil is found. What makes me feel unsafe amd like they were trying to pkay with my life and safety of my family is they never tested the parts after they installed them. They lied on both invoices. Each one says the car came in at 77491 miles and left at 77493 miles and I neverdrove tge car off the lot or in because I didnt know if the brakes worked. How can a car have the same miles on 2 different maintenance appointments if the parts were tested after installation? my odometer read 77491. Same as when I first droped it off almost a week ago. So either they turned back a digital odometer or they never tested the parts they forced in. I dont know if they damaged anything else by forcing the booste but I domt like the idea of others putting my lifr in danger.

Takata recall while diving at approximately 30 mph I was taking a left turn into my neighborhood when the vehicle began to accelerate on its own causing me to strike my drivers side front wheel on the curb disabling my vehicle. So the further I'm driving I noticed the smoke began to pick up a bit so I cut my hazard lights on. I'm about 5 minutes away from my house at the point. So I'm driving down the ramp to merge into the highway and the smoke got so thick to where I could no longer see so I'm pushing down the breaks to slow the car down and find my way to the side of the road but then my car locks up and shuts down. I couldn't turn the wheel, gas or break or anything. When I could glimpse through the smoke I noticed a fire was coming from my hood, so into moving traffic on the highway going about 40 miles an hour I hopped out of my car and it rolled a little over 100 feet to almost the yellow line (it was still blocking one lane). Witnesses called the cops and the fire department put the flames out. I reached out to my car company and they said since my car wasn't insured, that basically I'm out of luck. Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart se. The contact stated that while his foot was depressed on the clutch pedal without warning the the clutch pedal was stuck. The contact had to manually pull the clutch pedal up in order to start the vehicle and drive,the contact attempted to reverse which the gear failed to engaged properly. I had put my car in park and went into a friends house and my car rolled over his grill and rolled down behind his house. My car keeps cutting off while I'm driving. The batter light comes on without any warning. After the batter light comes on the only thing I can do is steer, the car starts to slow down, I can't excel at all, raido and all lights cut off as well. Once the car comes to a complete stop, I'll start it back up sometimes it'll start right back up, or I'll have to hold the key down a few seconds for it to start. The car have stopped on me while driving move than 5 times. I took it to the dealership where I purchased the car and the first few time they said after they ran all of the test they couldn't get the vehicle to duplicate the problem. Another time they asked could they keep the vehicle over night and have a mechanic drive the car home and back to work. The next day when I went to go pick up my vehicle they said they kinda-sorta got the car to duplicate the problem those were there exact words. Then they put a monitor in my car they told me to press the button while I was driving if the car was to go out so they can record the problem. The monitor was in my car for about a month and my car didn't duplicate the problem. A few weeks after they took the monitor out my car cut off on me again and took it back to the shop and they ran the same test and they couldn't figure out what's wrong with it. Another time my car went off I toom it back to the shop and it just so happened that my car was halfway empty on oil and they're telling me that my car is cutting off because it needs oil and they were going to monitor the oil. So they sent me back on the road and told me to come back when my car got to a certain amount of miles they had wrote down , when my car got to that amount of miles that they have wrote down I took my car back to the dealership and I told him to tell me if I needed an oil change and they told me I didnt. The word is out if you have a Dodge don¿t park it in your garage. They can catch on fire just sitting, not even running or driving. These fires all seem to start around the battery compartment. Fca is recalling vehicles in the u. S. For a defect that can result in a vehicle fire. Some alternators have an issue that can cause a short circuit, resulting in a stalled engine or vehicle fire. They had just put a brand new motor in this car. Smoke was coming from under the hood, so I open the hood and there were flames everywhere. The fire department put out the fire. This has happened to several of these cars, one young girl almost didn't get out in time. I hate to think about kids in car seats if you could get them out in time. These cars burn up quickly. No oil light on, no engine light, and it stalled. There is a problem with oil consumption with the 2. 4 engine. My car died after backing out of my driveway and starting a turn. Y car stalled out twice in the middle of intersections very dangerous. Battery light came on, music continued, but enginge just died. The steering wheel froze (no more power steering), and I couldn't press my brake down, it just sat there in the road. I checked the level of my oil and it doesn't even cover the curved part of the dipstick, that's how low it is. The car stalled out again, a few months after the oil change. The car is not indicating when it needs oil, and is shutting itself off so it doesn't over heat while driving at speeds 70mph+ and in the middle of intersections while turning.

The Darts breaks started to flutter and then feel warped. Upon remove the rotors were imperfect based on poor quality molding/casting. The backside of the rotors have gouges where they have rusted but the break pads have never touched and in some areas the casting looks like it pooled and cooled different then the rest of the rotors. . . Very cruddy and nasty across the rotors. The car started the issue when it only had 10k on it and it now has 17. 5k and is getting worst.

At low speed ~15 mph , in my subdivision during a snowy evening I hit and object. No tire damage, however the lower control arm broke. The water pump went out in my car at 50,615 miles. I was told by the dealer that the water pump was not part of my power train warranty. I took the car to a differant shop to have a new water pump put on my car it had 8,000 more miles on the car it started over heating took the Dodge to larson in puyallup wa. They are telling me that the antifreeze has been mixed in the car and that they will not honor the power train warranty!.

Silver billet paint has black specs in it two dealerships says bad factory paint job. Back up camera becomes fuzzy or just goes out. Seats on my gt fade .

Was traveling to work on the highway at approx 65 mph when I felt a vibration in my new car. Over a short period of time the vibration grew to a very concerning level. I thought I may have a flat tire. I slowed down and was looking for a safe place to pull over. Within approx. 1 mile I was able to exit off the highway and as I did the left/front wheel came off the car and rolled down the street . The car was towed by aaa to a repair shop who found the other three wheel's lug bolts to be torqued to 40lbs. The book states the lug bolts need to be torqued to 92lbs. The wheels were never properly tightened from the factory and were not checked by the dealer as per the pre delivery inspection. I could have been killed because of this negligence. I have contacted Dodge customer relations and have not received any satisfaction. This vehicle is not safe to drive.

Vehicle had slight damage from concrete wheel stop in parking lot. This revealed prior damage . Car was sold as new. 4 weeks prior. During inspection fender to bumper bolts found missing. Other screws not tightened and misinstalled. I refused to drive in this condition. Vehicle back at dealer for months no repair replacement of screws ever offered. Told by dealership owner it's ok drive it they don't need all those screws to hold it together. Chrysler notified many times does nothing but. Say sorry for your trouble. They have the money and the car. I have nothing. This car is a bad accident waiting to happen.

The panel that protects the underside of the front portion of the car rubs and detaches with contact with standard road objects (slopes, parking stumps, speed bumps, etc. ). As a result the protective cover is destroyed and hangs beneath the car and causes a safety hazard to the driver and to other vehicles on the road. Possible safety hazards include but are not limited flying debris on road way, excess exposure of car parts to roadway and weather elements, front bumper falling off, hoses on underside of car breaking from impact with road and more. Specifically, this happened to my car when I was entering a parking lot that has a slope and the front underside became loose. I believe the underside became loose because of the fiber glass fabric that keeps it in place which ripped (shown in pictures). It continued to occur each time I enter any parking lot that has a slope to enter and continually got worse.

The dashboard has loud rattle since left dealer,brought back three times,now windshield has cracked from inside lower left contacted Chrysler,the want to remove dash,replace windshield,I told them to take car back im not gonna be Chrysler guinea pig, car will not be same I told them, not even two months old.
