One problem related to carrier/rack has been reported for the 1998 Dodge Durango. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Dangerous flaw with the luggage racks. While driving the luggage rack broke and as a result the carrier came off and bounced down the interstate. No accidents resulted from this failure. The consumer would like to be compensated for the broken luggage rack or the abandoned car top carrier.
