Four problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1998 Dodge Durango. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision, and none of the air bags deployed.
Consumer heard a noise coming from steering that got louder with time. Dealer stated clock spring assembly needed to be replaced. There is a recall, but this vehicle is not affected.
Coming off the ramp while driving at 15 mph on wet pavement, consumer applied the brakes, and the brakes went straight to the floorboard, causing the consumer to rear end vehicle in front, and neither air bag deployed.
